I thought about you Today. well, I thought about how we never talk anymore. I remembered how I used to tell you everything, important or not.  But thinking of you has a way of making me sad, so I ripped your memory from my thoughts. Yet, the silence that follows is also a reminder of your absence, how cruel.

It's a fleeting feeling; sadness.  It kisses my lips in farewell but never really goes.  Always tucked away in the darkest corner of my mind, lurking, waiting for a moment of vulnerability.  and when the moment comes, I greet it like an old friend and patiently wait for it to, once again, become buried in my mind.
